Today, most GPs recognise that the health and welfare of doctors (and their families) is not consistent with being constantly available.
gpSolutions, as a Medical Deputising Service,
directly arranges for medical practitioners to provide after hours medical services
to patients of general practitioners.
In addition to the accredited home visiting service which we have offered for
many years gpSolutions also operates after
hours only, clinic based services at Aldinga, Morphett Vale, Modbury, Woodville and Salisbury.
Each of these clinics are also accredited and therefore conform to RACGP standards.
gpSolutions has its own 24 hour call centre which
is responsible for after hours triaging and home visits and will take all calls made
to the above clinics when they are closed.
When these clinics are closed all calls are taken by our 24 hour Norwood call centre which will provide access and referral services to patients.
gpSolutions recognises the invaluable role of GPs in providing continuing, comprehensive and coordinated medical care for patients, families and communities. Benefits of allowing gpSolutions to be your after hours provider include-

gpSolutions meets all requirements of Criterion 1.1.4 of the RACGP Standards for General Practice and can therefore provide you with a certificate of registration which provides evidence that your practice provides genuine access to after hours medical care to your patients.
